Day before yesterday which was the 21st of July, there was a BARBEQUE, the BARBEQUE was for the celebration of the going of our siblings to Broga. There were only 3 people in this BARBEQUE and it was me, Graham, and Rebekah (without counting Rebekah's parents and etc.)
I reached Rebekah's house at 5:00 p.m. but Graham went earlier...I think he went at 4:00 p.m. When I reached her house they were already preparing to go cycling. So we went cycling for awhile. After that, we played the game that ties you up in knots which is none other that TWISTERS. It was really fun, and Graham went out because he fell and it was me and Rebekah but we were so bored that we called it a draw. After that, we started the BARBEQUE, we started burning the coal and putting the chicken into the stick and we did a mistake, we marinated the chicken and so we put soy sauce and thick sauce, and when we needed to burn it, the whole chicken became black!!
Reminder: Do not put black sauce or soy sauce on a chicken when you want to BARBEQUE it!
So, after that, Rebekah's grandmother's maid washed the chicken and now we put a different thing on the chicken, we put honey and butter. Me, Graham, and Rebekah put the chicken, sausage, and prawns into the stick. And we wrapped the corn, potato, and sweet potato in aluminium foil. And we burned it. While waiting for the food to "burn" we went into the kitchen and made drinks. When we came out the food was ready, so we ate it. After eating, we went to the dining table and we talked awhile, while eating the pudding that Graham's mother gave. The pudding was so tasty. THANK YOU AUNTY KAREN! Then after that, we played TWISTER again. And then, Graham's mother came. He went back and I also went back. It was the end of the BARBEQUE.
There were so many FIRSTS' in this BARBEQUE. This were the FIRSTS':
First time I went for a BARBEQUE
First time I took a fishball and ate it (I never took a fishball and ate it, I was always forced)
First time I touched a uncook prawn
First time I won TWISTER twice
That's all from me.
We wanted to take pictures but unfortunately we couldn't..
Love,
~Deborah~
